Sunday, June 18, 2006 HAPPY FATHERS' DAY! ♥ 11:11 PM
Yesterday, I thought I was going to rot at home because my mum was tired and my dad was working so there really wasn't anyone who'd take me out. HAHA. But Cik Mel saved the day! She picked us up and we went to Pasir Ris Park. I LOVE SLIDES AND SPIDER WEBS AND THAT ROUND SOLAR THING THAT MAKES YOU GO UP AND DOWN! IT WAS SO COOL!
To cover up my enthusiasm fo kiddy rides, I pretended to be accompanying Khairul and I was screaming in glee while he just, well, looked around. After a few slides I think he got into the mood. He started running around and he keeps going to the metal balls. I don't know why they have metal balls all over but maybe its to fascinate kids like Khairul. We played until it was almost Maghrib and then we left and Nurul made me carry her all the way to the carpark. She's not so light, mind you.
Anyway I was really happy to be surrounded by running kids. (Nobody was crying, so I guess I could stand them!)
We then went to Suntec because Nurul wanted to see the Fountain of Wealth. The last time I went was with Nana, but it was in broad daylight and there wasn't much lights. But it was so beautiful at night and I thought that if I was a guy, I'd propose to my girlfriend there, with the words "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" on the fountains! I mean, can't propose to my boyfriend as a girl right?
Then we went to the Koi Garden and we fed the Kois. HAHAHA tell me if any other sixteen-year-old actually do these sort of things. Khairul was screaming at the top of his lungs!
And it was great, I say.
Anyway Today is Fathers' Day. Everyone gathered at Bedok. There was cakes and a lot of food. Niceee. I have yet to buy my father something but I love him and though he might not give me everything I want, he's the greatest and I know he loves me because of all the little things he does for me. Like walking me to the bus stop some mornings because he gets afraid I might get killed at that terrifyingly horrible and deserted carpark. Sometimes he's buy me chocolates and candies for no reason. I LOVE MY FATHER SO SO SO MUCH!
Kak Nad's all grown up, bringing a guy home. GEE! I just can't get a hold of myself, I'm sorry. I thought we'd be playing Barbie and playing housewives in the living room forever. I thought we'd still be playing Badminton everyday and catch tadpoles then get ourselves dirty and then go home only when Nenek shouts at us from her kitchen window. I really thought that was everything we'd do in our lives.
I'm not ready to face up and be a young adult. THATS TOO HARD.
