The whole secret plan is getting me excited! Pakcik and Uncle are quitting soon. It's sad. Now I can't wave to them whenever I come late. Anyway Pakcik gave us money to split amongst ourselves because he had actually promised to buy us Nasi Briyani packets on our last day as a parting gift before he quit but it was raining that day so he couldn't go out during his lunch time to buy us food. So sweet right. LOL. By the way, we didn't ask him to buy and although I feel bad accepting it, I could use some extra cash. I'll miss the elders!
Since yesterday was the last day of school for us and we are (FINALLY) having a vacation, we decided to go over to Nana's place to get the plan to work for real. It was quite alright and I think its not impossible. I'm really excited. YAY!
Anyway Nana's brother stayed around and helped us dumb kids to start and it's going to be awesome. Did I tell you he was HOT? Tasha joined us too today and somehow, Jurong doesn't feel that far. It does feel quite near.
I had to go off earlier as my mum had told me to be home earlier as we were supposed to go Bedok Reservoir together. Annoyingly, they left without me. Stranded, I called Kak Nad up and met her up. So yes, I was walking around Orchard at night in TK uniform. All those Minahs kept staring. OMG don't they have a younger sister?
Anyway I accompanied Kak Nad shopping and she really shopped hard. I only watched, of course. I wanted to get her to buy me something, but there wasn't anything to buy. Not when I'm drained and tired. Besides, I have no CPF, remember? I am unemployed, remember? The only money I've ever earned is given by the government and it's in the form of bursaries and awards that are given out ANUALLY. The pay sucks, too. I earn less than $300 per year. YES, I know, thats half the average Singapore earns each month.
I window-shopped looking for potential buys that will be purchased using my mum's money when I drag her shopping, but there was little that really caught my interest. The shirts are great, but they're not really that appealing.
I bunked in with Kak Nad then my parents came to fetch me. Packed our bags and headed to Bedok Reservoir. The opening matches for World Cup were so predictable that I slept watching them. I promise I'll watch the Finals. That's the real thing, eh.
Today was a day with my mum. We talked about life and my friends and me, of course. I know I have to change my fate. I can.
Greatttt day.
Someday when we've collect enough Courage, We can look back and turn the page. Love!
