Watching animals being slaughtered was super fun.
Having so many trees around me was refreshing.
Having so many men around was needed.
There were so many University graduates and pre-graduates in the house that day.

The house was suddenly filled with people I don't seem to know. And then I heard people whispering.
Oh that's Tip's boyfriend. Oh that's Kak Anis'. Where's Adi's?. Oh they broke up. Sad.
Then I asked Kak Yana where Fan was.
And I asked Kak Nad where Erza was.
It was super weird.
I honestly thought we'd be playing Barbies in the living room forever.

Faris was from the village, and Pian was from some very far away state in Malaysia.

There was a massive blackout during the gathering yesterday. The gathering was in conjunction of the birthdays of the 3 December babies, Aidiladha and Tip's completion of the Holy Quran. I am ashamed to say that I never got past Juz 1. Everyone ate with a candle in front of then. I loved it. There were so many candles and it was dim and beyond romantic. Too bad we couldn't eat with males because it'd have been considered inappropriate. Anyway was much fun. Everyone's friends were there.
