Friday, March 23, 2007 Embracing Familiarity. ♥ 10:34 PM
I had expected that familiar looming shadow behind me approaching. I had expected the familiar hustle, the familiar rhythm of those footsteps.
The courtesy of it all was too fearful.
Distant, Detached.
A few clicks and a few scrolls and voila! The perfect form of assurance, no less.
The meaning of it all? Just the perfect backing for my previously unsupported claims.
Every little story my mind created is the absolute truth afterall.
All too familiar.
And she, the living reason for my sudden turn.
Slow, slow.
On a lighter note, Tasha is telling me about her very fearful encounter with a fifteen year old boy who is currently wearing long pants (it's a big deal if you're in upper secondary man!) . He had threatened my baby, saying that he would have taught her a lesson on self-defence and the various moves stolen from TKD, Silat, Sumo Wrestling and whatnots if she had not been a girl. I feel for Tasha! Imagine a young boy who's eager to grow up and fight the world (quite literally) saying all that to you. IMAGINE! I can feel my red blood cells becoming less dense and rising now. SHEESH.
However, on the account that he said that the reason he did not eventually hit Tasha (although I strongly believe he's just a coward) was due to her gender, I shall drop the case. I am a female chauvinist, but only because most of the men population look down on us females. Speaking of which, have I already mentioned that I totally hate men who pick on women only because they think that females are the weakest of the lot? And have I already mentioned that the infidelity rate and the abuse rate towards female rights are rapidly increasing by day? Also, have I mentioned that men these days are prone to exhibit negative qualities in the presence of their female counterparts because they are increasingly feeling more superior to these women?
