To N: It's time you muster enough courage to move on and to get on with your life. Instead of making all that has happened a hindrance to your life, make it the reason for you to build a new life for yourself. You can get up and stand proud, you just think that you can't because you think staying is the easiest thing to do.
To S: Whatever the outcome, all we can do now is pray that he'll be safe. You know that I'm always here for you, even at 4 am in the morning, anytime, any day.
Just when I'm getting sad thinking of you and all that could have been had things not falter, I suddenly got reminded of the old man selling tissues in public and the old lady begging at the corner. Just when I thought I'm having a hard time, I thought of those sleeping hungrily on cold, wooden benches. Just because I did not get what I want and things did not turn out the way I thought they would, I cannot fault Life.
Perhaps we should all take a step back and examine ourselves. We are so much more privileged than we think we are.
What an emotional day. Time to mug.
FORWARD TOGETHER, TEMASEK; Ahhhh. Primary school is so romanticised in my mind. When I think of Temasek, I think of the trumpeter, Joyce, Nataline, the 6E people and my classmates.
