We had a potluck (which was meant to be a post-A-levels bur already bordering on belated) and to say goodbye to the the boys who are enlisting on Friday. And of course it's just another reason for everyone to gather. Even though it wasn't everyone, it was merry enough. I think I'll definitely miss my time spent sneaking food from Sakae with Sue, long study days with Mal, squabbles with Shane, fighting with the boys because they keep underestimating my brainpower, gossiping with the girls, Kat's silly moments, Mel's incessant singing, Gwen's infamous one-word catch phrases, Clare's signature laugh, Jan's scandalous moments and their many silly shenanigans. Even Ms Tan was there and it was fun catching up about the past, present and future(yikes).

We had a spread, I'd say. There was yummy creamy potato salad, fried laksa noodles, sweet tuna and mayo sandwiches, chocolate fudge cake freshly-baked by Jon, apple strudels and loads of ice creams (4 tubs and 2 pints) and of course many many bite-sized junkfood nonsense!

Academic stress aside, I'd say I loved the two years I spent in JC. For all that it is worth. :)
